Interactive Music Systems
Interactive Music Systems are computer systems that, through the use of innovative controllers and custom-made software, are able to actively participate in the composition and performance of music. My NYU Master’s thesis, “Who is Listening: Human and Computer Influence in Interactive Music Systems” attempts to describe and classify interactive music systems in terms of their flow of musical and control information.
