We stop to visit the outside of Queen Marys Close (an alleyway that was bricked up during one of the plague epidemics) but all of the tours are booked.  Then we walk down the Royal Mile, in search of souvenirs.  We pass by The Elephant House, the coffee house where the first Harry Potter book was written, and visit the very odd Museum of Childhood.
