Old Town

After lunch we walk to Old Town and walk up and down the Royal Mile, which connects Holyrood Palace (the royal residence) to Edinburgh Castle (the seat of Scottish military power). It's actually a Scottish Mile, which is a bit longer than an English Mile (this point is the source of many dirty jokes).
