We arrive at Heathrow airport mid-morning.  Customs is a breeze.  We hear news reports all week about how scandalously long custom wait times have gotten at Heathrow.  Guess we lucked out.

Finding the Underground is a bit harder.  We have pre-paid Tube cards.  The express train to central London is much easier to find, and a much faster trip; in hindsight, this might have been a better way to go.

The Underground to Earls Court, our part of town for the trip, takes about 45 minutes.  When we get there, it is raining very hard and is rather cold. 

After a few wrong turns in the rain, we make it to the EasyHotel.  It's too early to check in, so we check our bags for £2 per bag.  Having forgotten to take out cash, Greg must venture back out in the rain to find an ATM.   We get the bags checked, put on another layer of clothes, and head out to find food.
